Oak House wins an AIA Florida Citation Award
A single-family residence in Coconut Grove, designed by KODA around the century-old oaks that define its site.
At the 2026 AIA Florida Design Awards, Oak House received a Citation Award for Unbuilt Work. The house bends its roofline and its rooms around the trees; nothing on the site was asked to move. The award listing runs on a single image: the courtyard, the oak at its center, the house holding back around it.
